Scope and Contents This collection contains two metal dies for the Joseph Leidy Medal given out by the Academy of Natural Sciences. This medal was presented as part of the Leidy Medal Foundation. Under the terms of this foundation, the medal is to be presented every three years as a reward for pre-eminent research work in any of the branches of the natural sciences.
